The Wisdom in Choosing to be believe in Jesus

The wealthy do not know what it means to be hungry until they experience poverty. The healthy do not understand sickness until they are afflicted. A person living in a luxurious environment cannot comprehend what it means to sleep on the streets or live in the slums. Someone who is full of life cannot grasp the concept of death until they experience it. The point is that one cannot fully comprehend the other side of life until they experience it themselves.


I often hear people, who oppose the idea of salvation, claiming that humans are just animals and that death is the end. They deny the existence of an afterlife, claiming that there is no such thing as heaven or hell.

To those who speak in this manner, I humbly offer a suggestion. Let us assume that what they say is true, and that there is no afterlife. In that case, what do they have to lose? Nothing. Just like an animal, everything will come to an end.

However, let us consider the opposite possibility: that there is a judgment after death, and that there is indeed a heaven and a hell. In this case, those who did not believe will lose greatly and be tormented forever.

My question is: is it not wiser to choose to believe in Jesus and to live a life worthy of  repentance, which will save them from trouble after death? If it turns out that there is no afterlife, they will have lost nothing. But if there is an afterlife, they will have gained everything.

Therefore, I implore you to choose to believe in Jesus, turn away from iniquity, and let the grace of God cover you against that day. Do not wait until it is too late. Accept the love of Christ and the free gift of salvation now, before it is too late.
